Christmas in June!!?!?

This is the wonderful pool that Jennifer dropped off! Emma enjoyed it sooooo much with it being in the 90s this past weekend!

Taking a break.

Back at it!
Washing her car!

Perfect size slide!

Jay's parents sent down a package of goodies!!! Emma loved opening it! There was also some gifts for Jay and I. I'm in love with the new purse I get to strut around wearing!

Fun plates!

"Oh, Mom, look at this dress!!!"

She was saying, "OOOOOO" in this picture.

Shirts from Myrtle Beach!
Beach Towel!
New books!!!

She is now obsessed with these busy books! She's making Daddy read them before bed time and even wants to take them outside when we go in the back yard!

I asked her to smile for the camera to say thank you. How beautiful!

This morning, Emma decided to walk around with 2 travel sized Kleenex and pretend they were phones. I asked her who she was talking to and she said, "Papa."

If you'd like an idea for a yummy, refreshing summer salad, check out one we made last night!

Last, say hello to the fabric that will be the girls' curtains! It's all washed and ready to be sewn. I just need to get going on them!

Things I've Learned Lately

1. Emma is strong. Just check out these muscles!

2. Emma is tall. Which leads into another thing I learned: 2a) I now know how to clean coffee out of carpet. Emma is such a BIG helper and can now reach everything. I happen to leave my coffee cup in apparently a very accessible place for a tall 16 month old. She thought Mommy needed a drink and reached and grabbed the cup for me. I’m SOOOOOOOOOOO thankful it was cold. Everything will now be pushed so far back from the edge of tables and counters!
3. Emma has some great friends. We’ve been able to watch the Griess’ girls in the last week, and today we watched one of the Poucher boys. They are such a blessing. Since I didn’t have my hands full, I was able to snap a few pictures. They played so well together and are currently down for naps.
So excited to play with Emerson!

Playing house.

Castle time!

Lunch time!

Sharing even their lunch with each other!

Emma's list of great friends also includes Everly. I don't think other than her Daddy, Emma could be more excited to see anyone but Everly. Her mom so kindly kept her eye out for me and dropped off a swimming pool for our back yard that they got for free!!

4. Emma keeps growing and growing right before our eyes.

Picture Overload from MN!

I love when my mom sends me pictures taken with her camera. So, it's hard for me to only select a few to blog about...... there are quite a few, but I didn't put them all up!
On the way home from getting a few things from Sam's Club, my dad and I saw these 2 bald eagles. We raced home and grabbed my mom, and they went back and captured these amazing photos!

Beauty.

Majestic.

The only picture of Wyatt & I, but he is such a great hugger.
The belly at 30 weeks!
This was about 1 hour before we left my parents house.
Emma FINALLY was not afraid of Snickers!

Laughing.

Hugs from Grandpa in the morning.
Grandpa and his beautiful grandkids!

Grandpa helped Emma get used to Snickers.

Look at all the facial expressions.... Not sure Emma was up for a picture.

Auntie Time!!

Auntie Nina

Emma sat with Auntie Abby while she opened most of her graduation cards.

Hanging with the big girls.

Oh Auntie Cara.

Cheese!

Here are some of my favorite pictures. My mom truly captured the moment. Wyatt asked if he could carry Emma's snack cup around, and Emma would ask Wyatt with sign language for a snack. It was so cute to watch them interact.

"Please" (in Emma's sign language)

He would give her a bit of half of the pretzel and eat the other half!

"Let's go on a walk Emmie."

"Mom, can I crawl up here?"

"Oh, I'll show you how to get up here."

After a few thunderstorms, we had lots of sticks to pick up!

"Please."

Always on the go.

Taking walks with Daddy.

And a kiss goodbye.
