Our first official, non-driving day on vacation we headed up to Spearfish Canyon.
A friend had told me about the Devil's Bathtub hike. I looked it up, and it was labeled as an easy 1.1 mile out and back. Well, all I can say is I'm glad we threw in a bag of trail mix! We counted on the way back and it was a total of 28 creek crossings. Yes, the same creek. And the water was chilly!!!! It was exciting at first, then it felt ridiculous, and then we just started laughing. About an hour and 45 minutes later, we got back to the van. :/
