We had to check out an awesome donut place before hitting the road.
A little wild life and the place that started this whole trip. Back in February, we had asked Emma if there was one place in the U.S (within reason) she wanted to visit for our vacation,
where would it be....
She picked Mount Rushmore! That's how this whole trip started!
We drove over to Sylvan Lake for lunch. It was much chillier than we thought, but we warmed up with a hike around the lake before hitting the road to Colorado.
Wyoming..... not a lot of stops and was super smokey.
