The Capitol

Emma has asked since about December if we could walk to the capitol building after church some night. That night finally came. It was a gorgeous night out, and we even packed a picnic dinner!

I bribed Emma with some candy to take a family picture. I told her we would just ask whomever walked down the stairs next....

My friend, Jamie, who takes pictures for a living!!!! walked down the stairs. She finished up with the client she was with and so sweetly came back to capture our family in front of the capitol.
