Twirling Around

The weather has been messing with us.... It's been cold, then warm, then cold again, then warm again. So, we have been inside, outside, inside, outside, etc.
Football.

I was doing up some dishes to turn around to this.

"What?"
A little in the hair, many pieces in her bowl, and having a great time.
We got an oil change and hung out at the auto place for an hour.
Many snacks were had....
Dress up time.... in their real clothes!

Playing with the camera.

And, I'm sure there will be a lot of wrestling come winter.
We started early.

Bittersweet Wednesday

This last Wednesday was our last Wednesday with Cara. The girls and I have enjoyed the fact the my sister has all day Wednesdays off. We have gone to pumpkin patches together, baked many goodies, gone on walks, taken naps, run errands, and even hit a few appointments here and there. We even recently spend over 1 hour in Joann Fabrics.
We are so excited for her as she moves to working normal hours on Monday but will definitely miss our Wednesdays with Cara.

We love you so much.

Movin' Up!

We decided to move Emma up to a BIG, big girl car seat as Lily will be making the move to Emma's old one soon.
I think she's a fan!
Jay's parents were here last weekend. I didn't take many pictures, but here are the moments I caught.
Singing.
Headed to the Marriot for breakfast.

Lily got to join in on the fun of throwing pennies into the fountain.

I feel like Emma had a growth spurt based off this picture.

Enjoying applesauce from Grandma and Grandpa.
Lily got to join in on this now too!
Having some hot cocoa and Grandma's pumpkin spice cookies!
And, this lady got to join in on the cookie eating too!

Pumpkin Patch

Sadly, we missed the outing to the pumpkin patch with our moms group due to some under the weather children. So, we took advantage of probably one of the last warm days we'll have for a long time. First, we headed to Ankeny and grabbed some Burger King. Coupons and free fries are awesome! Fed a family of 4 for $8.79, and we were stuffed!

Cheers!
Princess Lily.
Princess Emma.
Then, off to the pumpkin patch we went!
As you can see, Emma was soooooo excited to go!

Pigs!
We didn't think she could pick this up. She proved us wrong!

Swinging high!
Playing some bags.
Lily thought it made a better slide.
You could dress up a scarecrow.... or Lily :)

Then, came the bales of hay. Emma LOVED this. She just kept jumping off and sliding down.

She found the pumpkins.

Wagon helper.
Trying to feed the goats.
"Lil you should try it."
"See, like this." (I was surprised she touched the donkey!)
One more petting of the donkey before we headed home.
Our family!
