I have wanted to take the girls to this fun little tower/"castle" since this summer... but I said 'oh when I'm not pregnant'. It may have been easier to do it this past summer!
We have been sick with many things in the last 10 days or so and are still in the contagious stage of life.... I was not going to let this 70 degree day in February go to waste! So, we headed to Winterset!
We got to the park and the park remembered it was February because the gate was locked to drive up to the tower. I seriously didn't even think of this! The girls, Cole, and I hike 1 mile up to the tower and 1 mile back. I don't think I've been more exhausted! But, they did great and we helped encourage each other and fix our attitudes when it got hard (because it did!).
Much deserved ice cream while Cole had a bottle before we headed home!
