Meeting Ellie!

We finally were able to meet Miss Ellie Williams! We left last Thursday to start a 10 day vacation. This was our first family vacation and the first vacation since our honeymoon.... so we weren't sure what to expect. Friday morning, we went over to my sister's house to meet my niece. She is sooo beautiful! Here are a few pictures from the morning.

 Nina and I got to sit and chat and watch the kids play while taking care of the little two. When I walked in the door, I couldn't believe it. Ellie and Lily were wearing the same onesie! Here are the little ladies.

 As I looked through my pictures, I couldn't believe I didn't snap a picture of my sister. Next time I will! We had such a wonderful morning at their house. Can't wait to see them again!

Jay's mom got these adorable outfits for the girls. They say 'Grandma says I'm sweet'. Who wouldn't agree?!?! They were being so kind to one another, so these were surprise Grand-Mother's Day gifts for his mom and mine. They are sooooo beautiful!

Lily's 9 Month Appointment

3/4 of a year has gone by with this little girl. Here are her stats:

Weight: 19 lbs 12 oz  75%

Height: 27 3/4"  54%

Head: 17 3/4"   82%

What does Lily like to do these days?

She loves finger foods, especially cut up grapes!

She loves putting ANYTHING in my mouth!

She loves pulling myself up on anything....

... even if it's not stable.

She's great at growing hair!!!

Lily has her own crazy amount of energy!

She loves smiling for the camera. (I'm going to enjoy this while I can!)

Prayer Warriors Needed

I need some help! 

My niece, Ellie, who is only 2 1/2 months old needs your prayers! The doctor has told my sister that Ellie has hip dysplasia. She is seeing a specialist in St. Paul and is currently in this brace: 

She has been in it for 2 weeks and had a check up yesterday. The brace is not helping as much as the doctor would like it to, so she will be in it for 2 more weeks. If her hips do not start forming correctly, she will have to wear a spica cast, a body cast from the chest down, for 12 weeks. Please, if you are reading this, join with me in prayer that the Lord provides a miracle for Baby Ellie. My prayer is that in the next 2 weeks her hips will progress and the spica cast will not be necessary. My prayer is that my sister, my brother-in-law, and my nephew will have patience with Ellie, the doctors, and the Lord through all of this. 

So, if you can, join with me in prayer for this beautiful girl and family.

Highs and Lows

The last week has been rather confusing for Emma. Here's why:

Tuesday, April 30 we went to the park and it was 85 degrees.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday it snowed; at one point the temperature was down to 33 degrees, I believe.. It snowed for 30 straight hours.

Then, yesterday (Monday) we played outside for hours, because it was 75 out again!

So beware, there are lots of pictures!
