Check it out! A pony tail!!!!

 I have been waiting for almost 2 years for the day Emma's hair could be in a pony tail! Emma let Cara put her hair up & I quickly snapped some pictures before she pulled them out. What a cutie!

But, she had a lot of love for Lily!

Potty Training!

In the last month, Emma has pretended her toy kitchen is a potty, told us when she is wet, and had multiple other signs of being ready to potty train.

So...... last weekend, we 'took the plunge'. :)

We all went to Target Friday night and picked up the necessities: Minnie Mouse undies, Princess undies, a Princess potty chair, an Elmo potty seat, and Mini M&Ms!

So excited to open it up!

 Here we are on the first day. 

We used chap stick to get her to sit on the potty A LOT the first day.

Emma has done much better than I thought she would. Today is our 5th day and she was accident free!!!!! We are soooo proud of her. I'm a bit scared to venture out yet. 

But, soon we'll try.

Oh, can't forget this cutie! 

She's been sitting in her high chair and just seems to be growing up so fast. 

Emma loves picking up Lily's toys after she drops them. What a helper!

 I got a cake pop machine from Jay's parents for Christmas. We decided to try it out. They are delicious!

We got to Skype with my parents, Cara, and Abby today too. What a treat! We also found out what our Christmas present was from my parents!

I loved playing the piano growing up and find it quite relaxing. Emma is put in almost a trance while it is being played. I can't wait to teach our little family how to play! 

A lot of Emma's Christmas presents had to do with the bath! Bath crayons, bubble bath, bath markers, and bath letters and numbers! She spent forever in the tub!
