My parents last visit was quick (about 24 hours) and this one was shortened a bit by the crazy cold temperatures and blizzard like conditions. But, we almost got 48 hours with them this time! In those close to 48 hours we celebrated Christmas, Emma's birthday, and they took Cara out for her birthday.

Emma requested a white cake with blue frosting. Then, I let her pick out the decorations for the cake and she put them on all by herself! How do we almost have a 4 year old?!?!
